    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • A Masters Degree from an accredited institution with a major concentration in secondary school administration.
    • A valid state certificate to serve as a secondary school administrator.
    • Experience as an administrator in an accredited alternative education program preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to promote, organize and administer alternative program(s).
    • Experience developing and implementing plans for the enforcement of disciplinary policies and attendance procedures.
    • Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and administrative skills so as to promote the educational development of each student, identify staff needs, recruit, screen, train and evaluate instructional and non-instructional staff.
    • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, manage, and evaluate programs and projects.
    • Ability to analyze, manage and administer a budget.
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Supervise the alternative education program for the Beecher Community School District.
    • Supervisory responsibilities for the development, promotion, and implementation of the alternative education program.
    • Participates in the appropriate professional organizations and activities for the improvement of the alternative education program.
    • Assists in the recruitment, selection, supervision, and evaluation of adult and altermative education staffs.
    • Completes all required reports for area of responsibility
    • Evaluates program effectiveness on an annual basis.
    • keeps superintendent or designee informed as to the extent and progress of the programs.
    • Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may from time to time, be assigned by the administrator in charge and which are not in violation of the master contract, Beecher Community School District policies, rules, and regulations.
    ANNUAL SALARY:
    $55,000 - Fringe benefits available.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    All newly hired employees must satisfactorily pass:
    • Reference checks.
    • Police clearance including digital fingerprinting (Live Scan).
    • Drug test.
    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
